CIP - Cleaning in Place

CIP – Cleaning in place – is a process for the stationary cleaning of production attachment, for example in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries (link to references). The heat exchangers are cleaned in a closed state. The heat exchangers are disinfected and cleaned. Cleaning can increase the performance of the heat exchanger again and ensure the operation of your plants.

  1. Prewashing
  2. Cleaning with an alkaline agent
  3. Rinse cleaning agent with water
  4. Acids for the removal of lime scale
  5. Rinse out acid
  6. Neutralization
  7. Rinse, e.g. with ultrapure water
